Lansing, Mich. – Two employees at the international headquarters of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® have been certified as moving consultants by the American Moving and Storage Association.

Randy Shacka, assistant director of operations, and Steve Ziara, franchise development and support specialist, met the professional and ethical requirements of the American Moving and Storage Association to become certified by completing a self-study course, signing a Code of Ethics and passing a rigorous certification exam.

This certification means that Shacka and Ziara meet ethical standards and understand tariff and claims for the moving and storage industry. CMC’s are known throughout the country as educated sales consultants with a commitment to providing excellent and fair service, according to the AMSA. This certification must be renewed annually.
“Here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® we strive to exceed our customer’s expectations every time we provide a service,’’ Shacka, of Lansing, said. “With this certification, Steve and I will be able to not only serve our customers better but also help our franchises better serve our customers.’’

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is the largest franchised moving company in North America. It includes more than 160 locations with nearly 1,200 trucks on the road. Each location is independently owned and operated and completes both home and business moves as well as packing and unpacking services.
