Two Home Office employees nationally certified for franchising

Lansing, Mich. – Two employees at the international headquarters of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® have become Certified Franchise Executives through a program by the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives (ICFE).
The certification is considered a symbol of leadership and is highly regarded by the franchising community. It’s a professional development program designed by franchise executives for franchise executives. This certification must be renewed every three years.
Randy Shacka, assistant director of operations and Terry Naylor, franchise business consultant, were recognized for completing the program at the recent International Franchise Association (IFA) convention. They earned their certification after meeting program requirements that included learning core and elective curriculum, gaining work experience and participating in various IFA exhibits, shows and meetings.
To become certified, Shacka and Naylor earned 3500 credits within the ICFE program by completing classes on subjects such as franchise relations, franchise management and operations, public relations, and franchise law regulations.
With Shacka and Naylor completing the program, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Home Office now has 13 CFE employees. More than 300 individuals have been trained in the CFE program nationally, with enrollment for certification increasing each year.
