(Lansing, Mich.) – TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has been named an “Up & Comer” franchise system by the Franchise Times.

The Lansing-based international franchise system was ranked No. 207. That’s up 14 points from last year’s ranking.

The list order is based on worldwide sales. In 2005, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® sales totaled more than $181 million. The moving franchise had 151 locations in the United States and Canada at the end of 2005 – 97 percent franchised.

“At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, we remain focused on serving the customer,’’ said Melanie Bergeron, president and COO. “That commitment has helped us experience double digit growth every year.’’

Other franchise systems on the list with local locations included Johnny Rockets at $199 million, Old Chicago at $173 million and Bruegger’s Bagels at $155 million.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® was started by two Okemos brothers. When the pair left for college, their mother Mary Ellen Sheets quit her job with the state and took over the business. Today, there are more than 180 locations in the United States, Canada and Ireland. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has nearly 1,300 trucks on the road and completed its 2 millionth move in December 2005.
