(Lansing, Mich.) -- TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®/INTERNATIONAL, Inc. recently became ISO 9000:2001 certified.
“At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® we always strive to exceed our customer’s expectations and uphold our commitment to quality service,’’ said Randy Shacka, assistant vice president of operations. “It made sense to pursue the certification because ISO 9000:2001 is a set of high standards we already believe in and apply daily.”
The internationally recognized ISO 9000 designation means the company has proved there are consistent business processes in place and applied throughout the organization. The company began the process in Jan. 2006 and has undergone periodic audits to make sure their practices are up to code.
Additionally, a business must prove they meet customer quality requirements and continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction to become certified. The certification is then awarded by the International Organization for Standardization, which is an international, highly respected, standard-setting body that was founded in 1947.
“We are proud to have achieved this formal recognition,” said CEO Melanie Bergeron. “The ISO 9000:2001 standards fall in line with our company’s core values and mission statement. We make our customers our No. 1 priority.’’
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®/INTERNATIONAL, Inc. is a family-owned international moving company. There are more than 185 locations worldwide and nearly 1,300 trucks on the road. It is a local franchised moving company. Each location is independently owned and operated.
