(LANSING, Mich.)—TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is pleased to announce three of its team members recently earned the ITIL Foundation Certification. This designation supports the concepts and techniques for managing information technology (IT) operations.
The employees earning this certification included Randy Shacka, vice president of operations, Marianne List, service operations manager, and Scott Auge, network and systems administrator.
The Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) helps put into operation an efficient framework for Information Technology Service Management (ITSM)—a customer-focused process for managing IT systems. The Foundation Certificate focuses on achieving the base knowledge for supporting and delivering ITIL service, philosophy and background.
“ITIL principles are the ‘gold standard’ for managing technology organizations,” said Barb Dawson, vice president of information technology. “Our team is integrating these best practices into our processes.”
Shacka is from Brighton, Mich., List is from DeWitt Township, Mich., and Auge is from Laingsburg, Mich. Several other members of the IT team will also begin the ITIL certification process this year. For more information about TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, visit their Web site at www.twomen.com.
